Glow-in-the-dark cement has arrived

A Mexican scientist has invented a solar-powered glow in the dark cement which could illuminate highways and roads rendering electricity-powered street lights redundant. The material soaks up light during the day and emits a blue or green glow for up to 12 hours at night.
