MCCP expand team and offering to reflect brand needs in today’s world
Kay McCarthy, Founder MCCP, says that the agency has seen double-digit growth in 2017. This is thanks largely to partnering clients to deliver on our Brand Transformational Growth Programme, which is truly consumer centric. The agency has added multiple new clients in different categories globally, such as luxury retail, alcohol, B2B and FMCG across more than 30 markets since the end of 2016.
As an independent strategy agency, we approach brand strategy through finding growth levers for businesses, and this starts with the consumer. We are hired by CEOS and CMOS who want to fast-track their business to high levels of growth. We work with them to define the right brand strategy that will unlock growth, which can mean identifying a new brand purpose to connect with their consumer, developing an innovation strategy and helping them bring the brand strategy right through the organisation. This results in growth that is sustainable and not short-term.
To deliver this we are adding new skills and people who have a record of growth brands from both client and agency side.
Jill McCarron, Brand & Innovation Director joins us with over 17 years’ experience working in leading blue-chip FMCG organisations as a senior marketing practitioner and business leader. Jill’s track record on managing brands and delivering innovation for brands such as Danone, Pernod Ricard, Jameson and Dairygold, will complement our focus on developing strategy that is actionable.
Jo Wood, director of strategy, joins MCCP having spent the last 10 years’ working in leading advertising agencies in Dublin. Jo brings with her a wealth of experience in developing impactful and compelling brand strategies for some of the biggest brands in Ireland including Supervalu, Irish Life, Heinz and the H.S.E.
Mark Byrne, director of strategy, comes to us from Design Works. Mark’s background and knowledge of marketing and design enables him to bring a fresh perspective to client problems. Mark also has a wealth of experience in helping brands such as Fáilte Ireland to develop positive working cultures which help brands to grow and succeed by creating culture that will enable brands.
Aoife Marron, Senior Research Manager, started her career in Red C before coming to MCCP. Aoife is a born researcher with a passion for qualitative and quantitative research. and getting under the skin of an issue. Her innate inquisitiveness and interest in the world propels her to ask more questions so as to comprehensively understand consumers. Aoife is also the vice chair of the Marketing Society Future Council.
I expect that we will continue to add to the team in 2017, says Kay McCarthy, as clients are coming to us with bigger questions and are asking us to partner with them to enable brand-led change to drive real growth in their business.
