As we grow and add to our exciting list of clients and projects MCCP are seeking to recruit an individual who has a minimum  3 years’ experience at a research agency or within a research function at an agency.

Reporting to the Senior Research manager and as part of a team with the Project Strategy and Research Directors, you will be supporting the delivery of research to the team and the client to inform important decisions regarding brand and innovation development.

Senior Market Research Executive

 

This is a new role reporting into the Senior Research manager and research leads and is a dual (quant. and qual.) role. It will include setting up research projects, day to day implementation and day to day liaison with both the internal project lead and the client. The roles and responsibilities include setting up and managing multiple projects (both quantitative and qualitative), managing the detail so the projects are implemented accurately and within the agreed timeframe. Implementing the detailed elements of the job including questionnaire design, script checking, managing qual. recruitment specs, developing topic guides, moderating standard groups and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data.   Project management is a key requirement of this role, with the ability to interact with the client and the internal research and strategy team. You must have a min. of 3 years foundation market research agency /practice experience and want to join a growing team with ambition to develop your career in an agency that works with many leading brands and with a strong strategic insight focus.

 

Key skill/ must-haves:

  • Very strong analytical skills and enjoy working on both quantitative and qualitative research projects
  • At least 3 years market research agency experience (or similar)
  • Knowledge of basic statistics an advantage
  • Experience in questionnaire design, table specifications and project management
  • Experience in working on quantitative research studies (i.e., ad hoc or tracking studies) and/or open to learning new methodologies / techniques
  • Experience in questionnaire design, script checking, liaising with data processing department or agency partner, preparing table and data analysis spec, data quality checking, data extraction, charting of research findings, preparing research reports
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Very strong numerical and written skills
  • Comfortable with interpreting quantitative research findings and numerical charts and/or open to learning new data analysis methods
  • Moderating Qual. groups and developing strong first cut analysis
  • Very Skilled in using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in using SPSS or other data analysis tools (not mandatory, but, preferable)
  • Presentation development skills – ability to design clear but visually engaging slides to support data analysis 
  • Enjoys working as part of a team but also accomplishes tasks independently & is self-directed
  • Excellent Communication skills – communicating internally to support the efficiency and running of a project
  • Strong organisational skills – time management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Brand and Comms Strategy:

  • Understanding of the principles of brand and communications strategy i.e., exposure to theory or practice in 3rd level or in previous role
  • Genuine interest in brand and innovation strategy – brand framework development etc
  • Strong interest and well read on consumer and market trends

Business Strategist

 

This is an exciting new role reporting into a Strategy Director.

The role will include managing large strategic projects including managing and analysis of multiple complex data sets, conducting key stakeholder depths and analysis, building category assessment and working with the Strategy Director to facilitate client workshops to drive strategic clarity on the future of a game changing category in Ireland. This will include project management of each element of the job.

 

Key skills Must-haves:

  • Very strong data analytical skills – value chain analysis experience an advantage
  • Very strong strategic skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • At least 5 years of foundation strategy experience at a consultancy of multi brand and business strategy (not comms only)
  • Experience in developing and deploying business and brand growth strategies
  • Experience in designing workshops and in supporting facilitating working groups both off and online
  • Ability to conduct senior stakeholder depth interviews and moderate focus groups 
  • Very high attention to detail but with an ability to bring clarity, prioritisation and focus to presentations and documents
  • Strong multi-category experience to include finance, B2B, sustainability, transport and public sector, food, energy and others
  • Excellent Presentation and storytelling experience
  • Enjoys working as part of a team but also accomplishes tasks independently & is self-directed
