Strategic Director

A fantastic opportunity to work alongside very senior market leaders to partner them to shape growth strategies and to build on your strategic and leadership capabilities for some of the best-known brands and categories globally. MCCP is an Irish business and has proven track record for leading some of the Ireland’s and the world’s best known brand strategies.

The Director role is an important leadership role: to lead the delivery of game-changing strategies for growth so as to positively impact on our clients’ business and our purpose of making business better.

Minimum 15 years’ experience in consumer centric brand building strategy development including agency experience (branding/strategy/comms - a must minimum of 5 years

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Being a credible and leading trusted advisor for our clients
  • Leading teams to develop high quality value creating strategies for our clients
  • Designing and delivering tailored strategy process from start to finish
  • Leading Workshop design and delivery
  • Managing all senior stakeholders and engage across the project journey
  • Developing the strategic framework and its delivery

Strategic Planner

Job Description

  • In MCCP you will work as part of a leading team to create insight led brand strategies for local and global brands
  • Your primary responsibility will be to project manage and develop penetrating consumer insight and brand strategy propositions 
  • Working closely with clients you will be required to have excellent relationship management and listening skills to build trusted and long-term partnerships.
  • You will be required to have very strong project management skills to manage project requirements, timelines, and team roles in the delivery of excellent project deliverables.
  • A key part of this role will also be to conduct analysis of clients’ data to understand their current situation and develop research to provide further insight as required
  • You will be working with experienced research and strategy directors where you will be coached and have access to learn in an environment where growth is nurtured 
  • You will have the opportunity to work on some of the world’s greatest brands and get to solve some exciting strategic challenges

Must have technical skills:

  • At least 5-7 years’ experience developing strategies based on evidence led insights in a commercial environment 
  • Excellent insight development capacity in the area of consumer and experience in developing brand positioning   
  • Very strong knowledge and expertise in design thinking and creative research techniques to access insight
  • Very strong communication and senior engagement skills
  • Excellent project management experience and relationship building capability
  • Very strong research/analysis and design experience 
  • Proven critical thinking capability and demonstration of curiosity and passion to get beyond the obvious
  • Very strong attention to detail but can see the big picture

Other:

  • The applicant must be based in Ireland and have a lived-in-Ireland experience for at least 5 years

Senior Research Executive

  • Min 3 years’ experience as a Senior Research Exec in quantitative and qualitative research

Job Description

Qualitative Research:

  • Assist in the design of research project proposals (designing appropriate methodologies)
  • Recruitment spec design, recruitment management
  • Set up of focus groups, interviews and workshop sessions
  • Task & Topic guide development
  • Management of tasks e.g., online ethnographies etc.
  • Attending focus groups to take detailed notes
  • Analysis of notes into structured presentation templates
  • Strong Powerpoint visualisation skills
  • Interpretation of qualitative data in relation to the research question

Quantitative Research;

  • Assist in questionnaire design (question writing and questionnaire structure)
  • Developing data analysis and table specs
  • Carrying out script checks, data quality checks
  • Managing fieldwork e.g. following quota status etc.
  • Data extraction & charting
  • Analysing data and interpreting quantitative research findings for the purpose of writing commentaries and summaries

Secondary Research;

  • Reading of articles, magazines, case studies and trend reports to identify clues for project deliverables and agency trend reports.
  • Content creation to support projects
  • Social media analysis

Fieldwork Delivery and Analysis:

  • Note taking and transcribing interviews for Senior team
  • Assist in moderating focus groups, online Zoom interviews and workshop sessions.
  • Contributing to analysis sessions
  • Formatting and design of reports
