Role: Senior Insight and Strategy Manager

Job Description
The Senior Insight and Strategy Manager will be reporting into the Director and work across multiple projects to project manage, design, deliver insights through highly effective and engaging research to unlock game-changing insight to support the development of strategy.
This role will include:
- Developing research programmes to unlock real insight and to go beyond the findings to bring clear insights to inform strategic recommendations.
- Conducting qualitative research as a key component and input to strategy development, shaping insight and feeding into the strategy process.
- A key part of this role will also be to conduct analysis of client’s data to understand their current situation and develop hypotheses to test and validate during research.
- Co-facilitating workshops to curate strategy development.
Must-have’s
At least 6 years in conducting strategic insight led research (qualitative a must), using a range of techniques across multiple categories and audiences.
The ability to think critically, and see the big picture as well as the details required in each project, and to challenge and unlock consumer led opportunities for our clients and be able to balance this with commercial imperatives.
Be able to apply strategic frameworks to create understanding among senior audiences.
Have proven ability to synthesis large volumes of existing research (qual. and quant) and produce a clear insight led narrative.
Be an excellent project manager, capable of managing complex research and strategy projects with many inputs across large and smaller projects.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trusted relationships with colleagues and clients across a variety of sectors.
Have strong empathetic moderation skills, coupled with sharp analysis and compelling story telling presentation skills.
Have a strong knowledge of some of the following sectors / areas: alcohol, fmcg, retail, government, financial, brand and proposition insight development and testing, innovation funnel testing, behavioural change insights and strategy, semiotics, communications evaluation, brand development, sustainability, AI and other related topics.
Have experience in workshop design and facilitation.
Have experience in writing winning proposals.
Be an excellent communicator and be able to bring clients on a journey to create better outcomes based on consumer insight.
